How long will it take with my exercise bike?
I’ve just got a schwinn airdyne exercise bike. Right now I’m only able to ride for about 5 to 6 minutes.My thighs feel like there are about to pop! How long before I’m able to ride for 30 to 60 minutes? Also What should I set my goals to be as far as moving up my minutes. My weight is 138 lbs. I need to lose about 15 lbs. I was walking but can’t due to a foot injury. Any helpful advice would be great!!!!!!!

Turn the resistance down on your exercise bike, – If your thighs are hurting then you are working too hard!
Like Silverbullet, it generally takes me 30-40 mins before I am warmed up! Spin the pedals around quickly but gently(like they were made of egg-shells)
btw. I have an indoor trainer so I know that (I’m sure the other guys with trainers will agree) 5 mins on one of these, feels like an eternity of cycling boredom! – so chuck on an iPod, watch TV or learn another language whilst spinning away for about 45 mins, a few times a week, that’s ok for general fitness. Come back and ask again in a couple of months and we’ll teach you about ‘Russian Steps’!! – Then your thighs will really pop!! – lol.
